I guess I should update this thing. It's been a while -- I don't write nearly as much as I should, and everything worthwhile goes into my XANGA!!!!1 (www.xanga.com/teenage_grammar_whore). I don't have much to speak of, really; I want to get into artistic endeavours again -- both through words and pictures -- but it's so hard to find any time. Which totally explains why I'm on DeviantART, right? xD

I want to start roleplaying again, but nobody wants to play with somebody who types eight or nine paragraphs at a time. And fanfiction? Soooo uncreative nowadays! My interests have changed a lot since I started this blasted art horde; I'm not thirteen, or angsty (most of the time =X), and I'm not obsessed with Japan. It's a great culture, truly, but not worth my total and complete devotion anymore. I've got purple hair solely for the fun of it, and I'm going to college soon; dunno where, but dammit, I am getting out of this town.

I have a twitter, too. That's more fun, but it's not really public. But hey, it's not as though I talk about my not-girlfriend there, right? Right? Because nobody wants to read about that. ;]

To be perfectly frank, I really miss being artistic. I miss writing most of all; when I was young, even as little as four, it's always been something I could put my whole soul into and not feel ashamed except for when reading to the class during English. When I put my pen to paper or keys to Microsoft Word is when I feel truly and absolutely myself, but when you're so molded by a learned preference to keep to yourself in addition to an overload of science classes...I don't want to think about losing my creativity. It is not lost. My muse was simply hit by the literary mac truck, but he'll come back soon. Probably at the worst possible time!

I like politics and cats and nerdly pursuits, and really, I would just like a couple of friends. I have this insatiable desire to change the world, upon which maybe I will elaborate some day. That's all. It's lonely sometimes, but I've lived so far.

(See? Even now I am censoring myself. This is a problem I need to overcome -- hence my less-than-triumphant return to the world of dA.)
